One Piece is a Masterpiece
One Piece is my all time favorite Anime and Manga. It is a story about a boy who is trying to chase after his dream of becoming the Pirate King, Monkey D. Luffy. On his adventures he stumbled upon a few people who is now his "Nakama". The first ever crew mate he saw was his Navigator who loves money more than anything else, Nami, during a chaotic event on a ship, at that time they didn't got the chance to talk or at least be acquainted with each other. After that, Luffy met the Pirate Hunter and Swordsman, Roronoa Zoro. Zoro was already infamous due to the fact that he was a Pirate Hunter so Luffy decided to invite him to be a pirate and become one of his crew, at first Zoro declined but he ended up as his right hand man in the end. Due to some stupid circumstances, Luffy met Nami again in an island where they struggled from the Buggy Pirates. He found out that Nami has a good navigational skills so he decided to invite her to his small crew to become the Navigator. The next crew member is the liar and coward Ussop, though he has his bad points, he is a very good sniper thus he became the Sniper of the crew. They received a small but sturdy ship from Kaya, one of Ussop's closest friend, they named the ship Merry. Luffy and the other guys didn't know that Nami was already a member of another pirate crew, the Arlong Pirates. Nami deceived Luffy and the others and returned to her hometown but Luffy followed her in order to get her back on his crew. They discovered the painful past of Nami and her hometown due to the Arlong Pirates. Luffy, Zoro, and Ussop fought hard in order to free Nami from her painful past and helped her move forward. After defeating Arlong and his crew of Fish-Men, Luffy got the attention of the Marines thus resulting for his very first bounty of 
30,000,000. Nami hated all pirates but decided to come along with Luffy on his journey. The newly created Strawhat Pirates made a mess in a floating restaurant called Baratie. Well, to be specific it was Luffy's fault. Luffy was made to help on the restaurant's chores since he doesn't have the money to pay for the damages he made. Working on the restaurant, they met the perverted cook Sanji. He was a top notch cook and a good fighter so Luffy invited him on his crew. They entered the Grand Line but not long after, Nami got seriously sick and she needed to see a doctor immediately. They found themselves in a snowy island where they met a reindeer who can transform into human form, Chopper. He is an exquisite Doctor and Luffy invited him to become one of them and sail the sea together. The next stop of the Strawhat crew is an island covered in sand. There they met Vivi, the princess of the sand kingdom Alabasta and the older brother(adopted brother) of Luffy, Portugas D. Ace, a well known pirate who can control fire and a division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. Vivi was supposed to join the crew but she can't leave her kingdom which was still recovering from a very bad state due to the pirate and Warlord Crocodile in which Luffy defeated. During the fight with Crocodile, they met a mysterious woman, Nico Robin. She was the second in command on Crocodile's group but ended up as a new member of the Strawhat crew. She made a brief explanation as to why she joined Crocodile and later revealed that she was a wanted woman who's suppose to die together with her town that was researching the long lost forbidden history of the world. Luffy made an enemy with the World Government just to rescue Robin, she doubted her existence for a very long time but Luffy made her realize that she should continue living. The bond between the Strawhat Pirates is very strong and the story behind every crew member is tragic. Before the fight to free Robin, their ship Merry was not in a good state. Merry traveled with them for quite some time and she was battered and tattered from all the fights they've been through. The Strawhats tried to find someone who can repair and restore her but no one can do it, Merry already reached her limit. They were advised to buy a new ship but Ussop strongly disagreed. Luffy and Ussop ended up fighting because of this and Ussop selfishly decided to leave the crew. During this time, they met a perverted Robo-Humanoid, Franky. He was a Shipwright and the best at it. He made the new ship of the Strawhats, Thousand Sunny and was invited to become one of the crew as well. He also fought with them during the war to free Robin. On the side note, Ussop also fought with them but hid his identity as Sogeking. During the time when the ship was still being made, Luffy's lineage was revealed by his own grandfather, Monkey D. Garp. Everybody was shocked when they found out that Luffy was the grandson of a Vice-Admiral and the only known Marine who fought head on with the old Pirate King. Later on, it was revealed that Luffy's father was one hell of a man too. He is the Revolutionary Army's Head, Monkey D. Dragon. Robin mentioned that there isn't a single average person in their family. Right now, because of the fight against the World Government, each and every one of the Strawhat crew has their own bounty and a wanted poster. When they were about to sail, Ussop apologized for his selfishness and for disrespecting his Captain, he was warmly welcomed. The Strawhat Pirates experienced few more adventures after that and one day they found themselves in the center of a dark and eerie ocean, there they saw a huge ghost ship. Luffy being himself wanted to explore the creepy ship and so the rest of the Strawhats decided to draw sticks as to who will accompany their crazy Captain, Nami and Sanji unfortunately won. The minute they boarded the ship, they saw a moving and talking skeleton, not to mention perverted as well, Brook. Luffy was amazed and was interested with Brook so he invited him to become one of his crew. Of course the rest of the Strawhats, maybe except Robin, objects the idea. They discovered that Brook can not leave the dark and eerie sea because his shadow was stolen and if he is hit by the ray of the sun, he will evaporate. Luffy was willing to help him retrieve his shadow but Brook declined the offer since the man who stole it was a very strong and problematic person. In the end, Luffy successfully got Brook's shadow back and he joined the crew as their Musician. As for now, the Strawhat Pirate is consist of 9 members. Luffy who wants to become the Pirate King, Zoro who wants to become the best Swordsman, Nami who wants to draw the map of the world, Ussop who wants to be a great man, Sanji who wants to find All Blue, Chopper who wants to become an amazing doctor, Robin who wants to uncover the "Void" part of the world history, Franky who wants to see the ship he made sail to the end of the world and be referred to as the best ship there is, and Brook who wants to fulfill the promise he made to an old friend. Each and every crew member has their own dream and they are trying their best to achieve it.

It is just an amazing anime, it has an epic story line and even though it might look like the story is a drag and is too long, it gives the audience excitement as to what will happen in the next episode/chapter. I give a big and fat thumbs up to the creator of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda.
