Featured Manga of the week: Kono Oto Tomare!
Hi Guys! Long time no post for me >.< (sorry about that). Anyway, I have another featured manga post for today, the story revolves around a high school club that is about to get disbanded because the only remaining member is the president Takezou. The old members already graduated so he is left with the task to look for new ones, in his great surprise the first person who showed an interest of joining the club is a delinquent named Kudou Chikka!! He's quite popular due to his ability to attract trouble, not to mention, he is good at fighting.
Well, basically, the story is just about high school students who loves to play the instrument "Koto" but are misunderstood by others due to their appearance and story. The group is composed of different types of people but when they play together, they produce amazing and fun music.
There is a total of seven members namely:
Takezou, the President
Hiro, the Vice President
Chikka
Satowa
Sane
Kota
Mitchitaka
If you ask me why I was drawn to this manga, maybe because it has a bit of reality in it and it's funny plus it has a little bit of romance though you can't really tell at first because all of the "main" characters are koto and club addict, haha, but there are scenes that you'll definitely see the attraction and chemistry. All in all, I really recommend this manga because it is simply fun to read!!!
P.S. I say that Chikka is a delinquent, has a short temper and is a little bit in love with violence but when he plays the koto, he gives off a very gentle and kind vibe, plus he's my favorite character (^_^)
